There are plenty of instances I could reference, as the issues began piling up - but I am a firm believer in finishing what you start. The signs were all there that being a teacher just wasn't what I had thought it was - but I'm not a quitter! However, in the end, none of that mattered. I wanted more from education than the system wanted from me. The truth is, I simply couldn't bear to shove another kid into the water any longer...
