This interactive group course begins you on the best part of your home education journey - Deschooling. It explores the way in which you believe people learn and provides opportunities to brainstorm some activity suggestions to help you think about learning detached from the public school model. This course is especially important when beginning your journey into homeschooling to prepare yourself and your child for the advantages of homeschooling and how that differs from traditional schooling expectations. It helps to prepare your family for all the inspirational learning they can expect at home and in what ways that contrasts with the public school mindset. **It is recommended to take "The Advantages of Homeschooling" and the "Methods, Styles, and Curriculum" courses as a prerequisite or in conjunction with this course.**
